Alaska, 1920, a home to many, but not a true home. Crumbling from loneliness and despair is Mabel, a wife to Jack, who is consumed by the work of the farm. Jack and Mabel are the new childless arrivals in Alaska, whose marriage is drifting apart. Due to loneliness, they build a child out of snow and the next morning, the child is gone.
