Sherwood by Meagan Spooner
When the news of Robin Locksley’s spreads like fire, in the Holy land, Maid Marian does not know what has to be done. She was the would be a bride to Robin, she was free to go anywhere, she mocked the choking rules of the centuries-old community and shared an equal stand with Robin, in terms of helping people or caring for them
Now, she is left alone, with no one to support her, having no stand for herself. Everyone at Locksley, oppressed by the marshall of Nottingham ( base in England), is destinated to live in a state of poverty or die by nothing but hanging.
Everyone wants her to accept her destiny. Marian gets into Robin’s green cape and also takes his sword and bow, she did not want that people take he for Robin, returned from holy land an angel. She did not want to be a legend.
But, then she can see whole of Nottingham crying for a liberator. So, now it is up to Marian to choose to make her own destiny or be her own hero.
