A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3.1) by Sarah J. Maas
Feyre along with her family have gone through a lot of hardships. Society has always kept them away; they are mostly in the need of food. It has always been Feyre’s job to look for food. She spots a Bunny, but doesn’t quite notice the Wolf coming to attack it. She immediately attacks the Wolf with one of her arrows, she is carrying.
A wolf faerie comes there and after looking at the blood shot wolf, urges Feyre to go with him, which Feyre accepts and starts living with him and not be killed. He is none other than the High Lord of Spring Court. She is also greeted by the Tamlinn’s friend Lucien. It amazes her that none of the wolves there, neither lock her up nor do they harm her, in any way.
Everyone, at the wolves place wears masks. Feyre also comes to know that they do so because of a condition affecting them. The masks have something to do with magic, is also what Feyre is told.
